— kiwi gives —

Dinner is hard. For some, the food is harder.

Getting dinner on the table every night is a logistical challenge. For some people, getting food to cook is the bigger struggle. Kiwi gives back in two ways: a share of every dollar it earns, and the product itself.

1% of profits to local food banks

Kiwi donates 1% of profits directly to local food banks. As our user base grows, we'll be able to expand where and how the Kiwi Community can work together to give back and help folks facing food scarcity.

It starts where Kiwi started, on Boston's North Shore, and follows our cooks: as Kiwi reaches new places, so does the giving.

Premium, free, for SNAP/EBT households

Kiwi is working to expand Premium access for free to people with SNAP/EBT accounts. It's honestly harder to do than you'd think. Offering a discount tied to SNAP or EBT needs an exemption we have to apply for, and we're working on it.

If you work at a food bank, run a SNAP outreach program, or know how this exemption works in practice, I'd like to hear from you. It would make this happen sooner.

In the meantime, Kiwi is free: a custom plan every week from the Kiwi Cookbook, your grocery list, and Cook Mode. No card, nothing to cancel.
